Great for breakfast or dinner, these German pancakes are easy to make and they are delicious! This isn’t in the original recipe, but I find it to taste much better if you add blueberries or mixed berries to the batter.
Recipe:
3 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 T butter
Steps:
- Whip eggs until thick and lemon colored.
- Add milk, flour, and salt.
- Beat well.
- Melt butter in square cake pan or baking dish.
- When the butter is bubbly, pour batter into the cake pan. (This is when you should add the berries, if desired).
- Bake at 450 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Serve with syrup, jam, or sprinkle with powdered sugar (I like the powdered sugar)
